Two days after his glorious birth, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have revealed the name of their newborn son.

And his name is: Saint West.

On Monday (Dec. 7), Kim went on her official blog to share the baby’s name, birthdate (12.05.15) and weight, which is 8 pounds, 1 ounce. It’s official, North West has a heavenly brother to play with.

Meanwhile, details have surfaced on the birth of Saint last Saturday (Dec. 5). According to an insider, the 35-year-old celebrity mom didn't have an easy labor. Apparently, Kim suffered from placenta accreta, the same condition she experienced during her first pregnancy with daughter North.

"She had a really tough birth because of the issues with her placenta," the source told People.com.

According to the Mayo Clinic, placenta accreta is a serious pregnancy condition that occurs when blood vessels and other parts of the placenta grow too deeply into the uterine wall. Typically, the placenta detaches from the uterine wall after childbirth. With placenta accreta, part or all of the placenta remains firmly attached. This can cause severe blood loss after delivery.

Kim discussed the rare condition during an interview in the September issue of C Magazine.

"They think I’ll have placenta accreta again, so if the placenta grows a little bit deeper than it did last time, then they are prepared to have my uterus removed, which is a little scary for me," she told the magazine.

Medical issues aside, we are glad that both Kim and her baby boy Saint are healthy and happy. Congratulations to Kimye on their new bundle of joy!
