Joey Bada$$ – Must-See SXSW Artists

Eighteen-year-old Brooklyn native Joey Bada$$ became an instant favorite after dropping his ‘1999’ mixtape last summer. The fascination with his mature music taste has only brought him at the center of talks of “Who's next?” in rap circles. Still a free agent, we’re pretty sure after all this buzz someone is looking to scoop this young one up into the big leagues.

He’ll be making several appearances with his band of brothers Pro Era at SXSW.
