Gary Clark Jr. Shares His Pain and Guitar Skills in ‘Numb’ Video

Guitarist Gary Clark Jr., channels the spirit of Jimi Hendrix in his black-and-white video for 'Numb.' The song is from his critically-acclaimed album 'Blak and Blu.'

The clip features Gary drowning his sorrows over a failed relationship with the help of his electric guitar.

The centerpiece of the video comes when, after fighting with his gorgeous girlfriend, Gary jumps into his vintage Cadillac Fleetwood and drives off to clear his head. Then the 29-year-old bluesman pulls over to the side of the road, grabs his amp and cranks on his guitar to heal his pain.

But it's not all doom and gloom. At the end of the video, Gary and his main squeeze rekindle their tumultuous love affair.
