Drake Invites Crew to Hidden Hills Mansion — Ultimate Hip-Hop BBQ

On June 1, Drake looked at his calendar. The Fourth of July was a little over a month away. Even though he’s Canadian, the rapper knew what the holiday meant to his American hip-hop buddies. He immediately drafted a text invitation for ‘The Ultimate Hip-Hop BBQ’ to be hosted at his Hidden Hills, Calif. mansion.

“No new friends,” he wrote at the bottom of the text, “Invite only.” Drizzy then reached out to a few artists for special help in making the BBQ memorable. Here's how it all went down.
