The crazy part about 'Laffy Taffy' is that it was a No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit. People loved this song!

Was it the popular snap dance that set it off? Was it the easy sing-a-long nature of the hook? Was it the fact the rappers shouted out candy that we all loved as children? Whatever it was, the formula worked.

In 2005, D4L became a group of one-hit wonders and 'Laffy Taffy' eventually disappeared into the abyss somewhere. But any DJ taking the risk to put this on at a party today should save this towards the end when people may be too turned up to care or to remember the next day. Because we all know, no one ever says, "Yo, they played 'Laffy Taffy' last night!"
