Charges against rapper Coolio were dropped Tuesday (Sept. 24), following a report that he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend in April.

A judge dismissed the case after prosecutors in Las Vegas said Coolio's girlfriend Anabella Chatman's side of the story couldn't be proved beyond a reasonable doubt, according to TMZ.

Chatman told police that Coolio had another woman at the home they share together. She claims that incident led to a dispute in which he knocked her down, punched her in the face and hit her with his car.

However, prosecutors say that she kept changing her story, which also led to the charges being dropped.
