Chris Brown and Drake now have something in common other than dating Rihanna. The 24-year-old singer was in Compton, Calif., holding toddlers and chilling on rooftops with a group of shirtless men who surrounded him as he filmed a tribute video for the late singer Aaliyah.

Drake has a long-running fascination with the deceased songbird. He's shown this through a tattoo and also caught heat when he announced that he would be producing unreleased material from Aaliyah's catalog in 2012. Drizzy released 'Enough Said,' the first of the singer's posthumous tracks he remixed last year, to hot and cold reviews.

Now CB is creating his own song dedicated to Aaliyah, who found fame in the 1990s and 2000s with tracks like 'More Than a Woman,' 'One in a Million' and 'Come Over.' Images released by x17online.com show Brown on a set shooting a video for the song, which is called 'They Don't Know.' This will be the follow-up to his current single, 'Fine China.'

Breezy filmed the music video yesterday afternoon. A Vine clip surfaced on Twitter of him in a Los Angeles Dodgers jersey on a street corner with a bunch of excited kids behind him.

We wonder if Drake will find some appreciation for this.

'They Don't Know' will appear on 'X,' Brown's sixth studio album, due July 16.
