Candice Glover Wins ‘American Idol’ Season 12

Candice Glover has been a front unner in this season's 'American Idol' competition and for good reason. The contestant's sultry, dominating voice stole the heart's of the judges and America.

Millions of votes were tallied and last night (May 16), Glover was announced as Season 12's winner.

Before performing on the finale stage, Aretha Franklin gave the 'Idol' winner a big shout out that basically predicted the young star's win.
