Congrats are in order for R&B superstar Brandy. According to Us Weekly, the 33-year-old songbird is engaged to her boo, music executive Ryan Press.

"They are thrilled and happy and Brandy feels this is so right," a source told the website. The engagement news comes just hours after Brandy released her smooth love ode 'How High.'

The singer has gushed about her current fiancé in past interviews. She told Sister2Sister magazine back in August that she hopes to marry Press but wasn't rushing the matter. "I keep hearing about a ring. People keep calling me, hinting to me about it, but I don't know," Brandy said. "I'm going to be patient and let it happen and just let it be… I guess it will happen when it's the right time."

This will be Brandy's first marriage. In 2008, she went on record to say she married her then-boyfriend Robert Smith, which turned out to be false. The two have a 10-year-old daughter named Sy'ra. After her relationship with Smith ended, Brandy stopped looking for love until she met Mr. Press.

"I had given up on love a long time ago. It just didn't seem to work for me, so I was single for a very long time," she tells Us Weekly. "He just loves me for who I am. I don't have to camouflage anything for him or put on a mask. I can completely be myself and he loves me so much and I love him just the way he is, too."

No official word on when the lovely couple will walk down the aisle. Judging by the 'How High' track, it looks like Brandy will follow Press' lead on when and where.

Congrats to Brandy and Ryan! We wish them a happy engagement.
