In April, Coachella festival goers didn’t expect to get a blast from the past during a set performed by Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. While onstage, they brought out Eminem, 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa and Warren G to rap through some of their most memorable tracks. But the crowd turned wild -- and so did social media -- when a hologram of late rapper Tupac Shakur made an appearance as well. 'Pac proceeded to have the crowd rocking as the image in his likeness performed his classic 'Hail Mary.'

According to reports from MTV News, it took four months to create the Tupac hologram. On Twitter, fans who watched the show via Livestream were happily shocked by it while others felt the hologram was disturbing the late rapper’s peace. Whatever the deal, the moment was surely unexpected and the beginning of other “ghost” visits from more deceased entertainers.
