In 2012, we saw plenty of colorful and innovative videos from your favorite hip-hop and R&B artists. From Drake's crazy bar mitzvah in the 'HYFR' clip to Solange dancing it up in South Africa to Killer Mike's powerful imagery in 'Reagan,' there were a slew of visuals to hold our attention. We have listed 10 of the most standout clips within the past year, but which one gets your vote for the 2012 TheDrop.fm Best Video award?

Young Money superstars Drake and Lil Wayne will be competing against each other for the coveted Best Video trophy with their clips 'HYFR' and 'My Homies Still,' respectively. In Drizzy's video, the rapper-crooner gets "re-bar mitzvah'd" and the party gets rowdy when Weezy and the gang show up. In Wayne's trippy vid for 'My Homies Still,' the rapper is flipping out along with wacky neighbors, discarded mannequins, a dancing panda and a pink elephant.

Azealia Banks is nominated for her western-inspired video for 'Liquorice.' The Harlem rapper is a sexy cowgirl who calls all the boys to her rodeo. Also, in the diva world, we've got Rihanna tribal dancing in 'Where Have You Been' and M.I.A. is drag racing in her video for 'Bad Girls.'

On the rap side, Danny Brown and Killer Mike released captivating videos for 'Grown Up and 'Reagan,' respectively. In 'Grown Up,' Brown goes back in time to when he was just a little kid growing up in Michigan. Killer Mike's animated video 'Reagan' features powerful visuals about how Reaganomics affected the black community.

Meanwhile, Kanye West and his G.O.O.D. Music crew released their impressive black-and-white video for 'Mercy,' which was all shot in one-take.

Closing out the list of nominees is Solange with her sartorial video 'Losing You.' Shot in Cape Town, South Africa, Bey's sister dances in different, colorful outfits with fashionable South African townspeople. Finally, Emeli Sande's 'My Kind of Love' features the songbird caring for her ailing friend.
