This year, Rick Ross further established his Maybach Music Group with his stable of artists including Wale, Omarion and Meek Mill. As the boss, he must lead by example and he did so on 'God Forgives, I Don't,' his fourth No. 1 album in his career.

On 'GFID,' Rozay scored some impressive guest appearances, particularly with '3 Kings,' which features two of hip-hop's biggest bosses Dr. Dre and Jay-Z. He also managed to get Andre 3000 to spit arguably his best verse in 2012, on 'Sixteen.' And the Bawse serenaded the ladies with the seductive 'Diced Pineapples' featuring Drake and Wale.

While Ross had plenty of detractors hoping to impede his success, the MMG head honcho never let their negativity hold him back.
