'American Idol' is now down to the top 10 and none of the contestants seem to realize they’re performing against one another.

There were no “wow” moments last night, nothing exciting. This episode was just one giant snoozefest. The most exciting part of the show started with only three judges and Nicki Minaj was nowhere to be found. Apparently the 'HIgh School' rapper was stuck in traffic. She showed up after the second contestant performed, wearing a hoodie and sunglasses, giving some Unabomber realness. Did the woman oversleep?

Contestants were asked to perform songs that previous 'American Idol' winners either performed on the show or released during their post-'Idol' career. Producer and chairman of Interscope-Geffen-A&M Records Jimmy Lovine served as the mentor for each contestant.

The only standout moment came from Candice Glover, who performed ‘I (Who Have Nothing)’ originally performed by Ben E. King. Past 'Idol' singer Jordin Sparks gave an outstanding performance during the sixth season so that's why Candice chose the song.

She once again made the song her own and even got a standing ovation from three out of the four judges -- Mariah Carey was unable to stand due to a tight situation with her dress. Nicki even declared that no one else should perform this song in future 'Idol' competitions.

Other onstage shows that impressed the judges were Angie Miller, who performed Celine Dion's ‘I Surrender’ -- Kelly Clarkson performed it during her winning season. Mariah Carey told Angie she was “stellar” and nothing else.

Randy Jackson said “this kid believes” of Burnell Taylor, who performed Westlife’s ‘Flying Without Wings,’ which Ruben Studdard sang during his season of 'Idol.'

Tonight during the next 'American Idol' episode, two contestants will have an intense sing-off for a spot in the 'American Idol' tour.
