Tax season rolls around every year at the same time, but somehow a substantial number of rappers forget to pay Uncle Sam -- he doesn't play when it comes to his money. Before much time passes, your favorite emcee's name is splashed across the internet with the tagline: 'Hit With Tax Lien.'

We get it. There's a lot of money passing through a lot of hands in hip-hop, but that's why a competent accountant is needed to look over finances with the release of every album and the start of every tour.

Even if the rapper doesn't want to count his own money, there should be someone there keeping track of it all. We bet Nas hired an accountant after his money issues resurfaced late last year -- the state of Georgia cited the Queens emcee as owing more than $1 million in taxes from 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010.
