When JoJo's 'Leave (Get Out),' off her self-titled debut album, released in June 2004, it immediately became a hit and earned her the title of the the youngest solo artist to have their first single hit No. 1. She was 13 at the time.

As her career grew, JoJo came out with one more album and two mixtapes, which showed fans how she was able to straddle the line between pop and R&B. She also made sure to convey to fans that she was no longer a little girl, especially with the sexier track, 'In the Dark,' off her 2010 mixtape, 'Can't Take That Away from Me.'

In Dec. 20, 2012, JoJo released her second mixtape, 'Agape,' calling it a labor of love. Now 22, she is in the midst of working on her third LP. Originally called 'Jumping Trains,' she announced that the record is going in a new direction, which is why the title of the album has to change as well. Although she's really taking her time with this forthcoming project, JoJo proves that perseverance and some hard work do pay off in the end.
