83: Rochelle Jordan – Powerful Women of 2013

Rochelle Jordan may not be a household name yet, but it looks like 2013 may be her year. This Toronto singer-songwriter received critical acclaim with her 2011 debut, ‘R O J O,’ which features a cover of Drake’s ‘Marvin’s Room,’ and ‘King A,’ a tribute song to the late Aaliyah.

With vocals that are as buttery as Jazmine Sullivan’s, she takes ‘She Will’ by Lil Wayne and Drake and spins the track on its head to create 'Impossible.’ She recently released her sophomore effort, ‘P R E S S U R E’.
