73: Lee Mazin – Powerful Women of 2013

Lee Mazin is a South Philadelphia rapper who is not only a mover and shaker in her local scene but also grabbing the attention of some heavy hitters.

Born Taliyah Smith, Mazin dominated at local rapping competitions and became Female Artist of the Year at the Philadelphia Hip-Hop Awards in 2011. Mazin eventually signed with Meek Mill's label, Dreamchaser Records. She then released her debut album, 'simpLEEaMazin,' and her songs became part of the regular rotation at Power 99 in her hometown.

Although she's only been performing for the past two years, her fan base is growing and she's also preparing for her next project, 'LoveLEE.'
