After winning the third season of the U.K.'s 'The X Factor,' Leona Lewis shot to stardom with her 2007 debut album, 'Spirit.' Known for her affinity for ballads from iconic singers like Whitney Houston, 'Bleeding Love,' the second single, blew up and topped charts all over the world -- making it one of the best selling singles of 2008.

Her success continued with the release of 'Better in Time' and 'I Will Be.' At this point, Lewis was offered once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to sing at the 2008 Summer Olympics Closing Ceremonies with Jimmy Page and joined some of today's top singers including Beyonce, Mary J. Blige and Ciara to perform 'Just Stand Up!,' the theme song for anti-cancer campaign, Stand Up to Cancer. Billboard named Lewis the "Top New Artist" in 2008, capping off a very successful year.

Lewis released two other albums, 'Echo' in 2009, and 'Glassheart' in 2012. Currently, she's working on her fourth LP and was named The Body Shop's brand activist.
