The year 2000 was just a weird summer for hip-hop music, as we entered the bling bling era. During that time, Master P created a group that consisted of himself C-Murder, Silkk the Shocker, Mystikal and a few other rappers.

Although overshadowed by artists like the Hot Boyz, DMX and Missy Elliott, the rap group's track did reach No. 17 on Billboard’s Hot 100, and became one of the hottest songs that summer, climbing to No. 1 on the Rap Singles chart that year.
