Crime: Assault
If you see Da Brat, make sure you keep out of her way. In 2007, she was arrested for allegedly hitting a waitress over the head with a rum bottle at Studio 72 outside of Atlanta. Apparently, the other woman bumped into her at the club and the conflict started. This isn’t the first time Da Brat was arrested for her violent temper. In 2000, she received a reduced charge -- misdemeanor reckless conduct -- and had to do 80 hours of community service, a year of probation and pay $1000 in fines.

Crime: Misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct
Don’t mess with N.O.R.E. when he’s eating. In 2009, the Queens, N.Y., rapper allegedly ripped up flowers at a Miami Fatburger before throwing a drink at an unidentified man. That was followed by punching and yelling at him. He was arrested and charged with misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct. Soon after news went viral about his arrest, N.O.R.E. set the record straight on Twitter and clarified that no flowers were hurt during the incident.

Crime: Armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault
Gunplay turned himself in to Miami-Dade police on Oct. 10, 2012, on a warrant for his arrest, issued in May. His crime? Robbing Turron Woodside, a Miami tax firm employee, of his chain on April 13. The Maybach Music Group signee, who was armed at the time of the incident, was initially being held with no bond. However, a judge overturned that, moving Gunplay to house arrest after posting a $150,000 bond.

Crime: Speeding, possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled substance
Lil' Flip was pulled over by police in Shreveport, La., when he was caught driving 86 mph in a 75 mph zone in 2012. However, when cops searched his 2010 Dodge Challenger, they found weed and an illegally owned Bushmaster AR-15 assault rifle and arrested him. He soon posted the $35,000 bail and went on to blast the cop that arrested him. The rapped claimed he had the proper gun license.

Crime: Battery and robbery
In September 2012, Webbie was arrested in Baton Rouge, La., for kicking a woman down the stairs in a Chase Suite Hotel and stealing $340 in cash from her purse. Webbie posted the $9,000 bond and claims that he is innocent. He insists that the woman actually stole the money, and he was trying to get it back.

MTV's 'Making the Band 2' alum Sara Stokes was arrested on Aug. 2, 2009, when she allegedly stabbed her husband, Tony, in front of their children. Her lawyer claims that the couple loved each other and  were "having fun." But from bruises and scars on her face, fun might not be the best way to describe that night.

Crime: Weapons possession and bribery
Sean "Diddy" Combs was partying it up in the Bronx, N.Y., with his then girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, when shots were fired at the nightclub. Combs, Lopez, his bodyguard and driver piled into the car. However, when police stopped the vehicle, they found a stolen 9mm pistol in the front seat. Everyone was arrested. Combs was charged with bribing the driver to tell authorities it was his weapon as well as possession charges. On March 16, 2001, Combs, who hired Johnnie Cochran, Jr., to represent him, was acquitted of all charges.

Crime: Disorderly conduct
While hosting a mixtape party at Atlanta's Tongue and Groove on Dec. 21, 2009, Youngbloodz member Sean Paul got into an altercation and things ended with him in handcuffs. Paul was originally charged with felony simple assault, but it was soon reduced to disorderly conduct after he appeared in court the following day. He was released on $1,500 bail.

On Jan. 1, 2010, Demetrius "Shawty Redd" Lee Stewart allegedly shot and killed 35-year-old Damon Martin, according to reports. He was arrested later that day. After some jail time and trials, he was cleared of all charges and was said to have acted in self-defense.

Crime: Third-degree assault charge
After pleading guilty to stabbing record producer Lance "Un" Rivera in New York on Dec. 2, 1999, Jay-Z faced up to three years of probation for third-degree assault. Prior to the guilty plea, he would have been facing 15 years in prison for felony assault in the second degree -- assuming he were to be found guilty in court.
