During All-Star Weekend in Houston, there was a lot of news on Lil Wayne's beef with the NBA and a few basketball players. But there were some positive things happening with hip-hop artists as well.

One story that went under the radar was Young Jeezy being presented with a Certificate of Congressional Recognition for his ongoing community work. Houston Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee presented the rapper with the award, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Jeezy founded the Street Dreamz foundation in 2001, and has given back to communities in his native Macon, Georgia, in addition to cities like Atlanta, Houston and New Orleans.

“The greatest good you can do for another is not just to share your riches but to reveal to them their own,” the certificate stated.
