Wiz Khalifa Shows Maturity in New ‘Let It Go’ Video Featuring Akon

Wiz Khalifa may be enjoying his time being a proud papa to new baby Sebastian, but that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t have to go to work. The ‘O.N.I.F.C.’ rapper just released the video for ‘Let It Go,’ which features Akon.

Providing the vocals on the chorus of the track, Akon — who seems to have faded into the background in recent months — shows that he hasn’t gone anywhere too far or lost that signature tone.

‘Let It Go’ showcases Khalifa’s maturity with a song that looks at the times in our lives when we think the obstacles are too much, but we just need to gather the courage to work at it no matter how hard it gets. The video takes on the same idea, following a girl who is doing all she can to be a professional fighter despite the fact that her boyfriend is cramping her style.
