Will.i.am Performs ‘Bang, Bang,’ Tap Dances on ‘American Idol’

Will.i.am graced the 'American Idol' stage last night to sing his new song, 'Bang, Bang,' giving an excellent must-see performance.

The track, an amalgamation of '20's jazzy instrumentals and futuristic rap-pop vocals, is the Black Eyed Peas' star's contribution to the soundtrack for the new movie 'The Great Gatsby', set to debut May 7. 'Bang, Bang' also sits on his new album, '#willpower.'

He rocked an all-white suit for the '20's-themed performance which included a big band and Charleston crazed, hip-hop dancers.

By the way, the stage lighting was phenomenal; at first, an all black and white theme, then back to pops of color.

Just when everyone thought it couldn't get any better, will.i.am busted out an obviously well-rehearsed tap dance solo.
