On Christmas Eve, Wale releases a 21-track mixtape called 'Folarin,' full of new music with a variety of sounds and features.

This includes his Maybach Music Group, Def Jam affiliates, and others including Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Trinidad James, Jhene Aiko and Chrisette Michele.

The track 'Change Up,' produced by LG, is a soulful sample where Wale rhymes about being the same person he was before pre-fame, just with more money to claim. "Your annual is my rent fee," he raps. He switches things up with a swagged-out "turnt up" track on 'GetMeDoe' featuring 2 Chainz produced by Beat Billionaire.

'Bad' has a bed-rocking sample and on the cut he acknowledges that monogamy may not be for everyone. His opening line is a paradox he sees in what woman want, rapping, 'Bad girls ain't no good and the good girls ain't no fun / And the hood girls want a smart n----, college girls all want thugs." Produced by Tiara Thomas and Kelson, this track delves in lust, leaving love on the back burner.

On the Jhene Aiko-assisted 'Cool Off,' produced by Tone P, Wale wants to be spoiled with consistency on the smooth, laid-back sound. The D.C. native, who isn't a stranger to discussing relationship issues in his music, just wants to cool off from the arguments between he and his lady.

The MMG rapper released his last mixtape, 'The Eleven One Eleven Theory,' in 2011. His last album, 'Ambition,' arrived last year. His third studio LP will debut next year.
