Arguably one of the best performers of this generation, it wasn’t that much of a shock to learn that Usher took home the Grammy for Best R&B performance Sunday night.

One of the many coming from the school of Michael Jackson, Usher was honored for what he does best: perform.

His song was up against an awesome performer in his own right, Miguel, for ‘Adorn,’ Estelle’s ‘Thank You,’ Robert Glasper Experiment’s ‘Gonna Be Alright (F.T.B.)’ featuring Ledisi and Luke James‘ ‘I Want You.’

With all of those talents, Usher still managed to come away with the award. He isn’t over the hill just yet as this win made clear. So congrats to Usher.
