It looks like Tyler the Creator has squashed Kid Cudi's chances of being the next artist to enter TheDrop.fm's Rap Battle Hall of Fame.

With 62.05 percent of the vote, Tyler's 'Slater' edged out Kid Cudi's 'Immortal,' off his upcoming LP, ‘Indicud,’ which only walked away with 37.95 percent.

'Slater' put Tyler back in the studio with his Odd Future brother Frank Ocean and supposedly includes some guitar expertise from rocker Dave Matthews. The song is the second single off Tyler’s latest album, ‘Wolf,' which released earlier this week. “Guess I win, checks started cashing in / I stopped rapping and started asking, ‘Where my f---ing passion is?’ / Probably where that f----- went (Who?), Tyler talking father problems / Shocky s--- he spit to popping topics in a gossip column,” he delivers on this track, which talks about his road to hip-hop success.

Tyler goes up against another rapper who rhymes about his own musical journey, Joey Bada$$. Recently named among this year's XXL Freshman class, the Pro Era member's new track, 'Day in the Life' -- featured on Peter Rosenberg's 'New York Renaissance' mixtape -- looks at how he grew up and got into the hip-hop game. "But that's just a day in a life / We're saying it right / We cats get this made in the night / Get this made in the night / We can say it ain't right," he spits.

Can Tyler the Creator's 'Slater' bring in another win next week? Or will Joey Bada$$'s 'Day in the Life' ruin his chances? Vote for your favorite track in the poll below. Remember you can vote once per hour until the poll closes on Thurs., Apr. 11, at 10 a.m. ET.
