Tyga performed at Harvard University's annual Yardfest on Saturday (April 13) for a large crowd, despite previous opposition from students at the university earlier in the week.

As the festival's headliner, the rapper played an hour-long set that included his song 'Bitch Better Have My Money,' according to the Harvard Crimson. The song is one of many in Tyga's catalog that students called “explicitly and violently misogynistic.”

Tyga definitely had a chip on his shoulder because of the controversy and addressed his naysayers before walking off stage. “I just want to say, F--- the haters,” he yelled.

Later, Tyga was grateful for the support he received from those students who stuck around to watch him.

"#Harvard Thanks for the love. Shout out to @FoxNews, and tweeted a picture of his performance, which showed the audience having a blast," the Cali native wrote.

His album, 'Hotel California,' hit shelves on April 9.
