Here's another example of a stalled hip-hop murder case. The slaying of Run-DMC's resident DJ Jam Master Jay made national headlines due to the cloud of mystery surrounding his death on Oct. 30, 2002. Ten years later, his killer remains at-large.

The record spinner, born Jason Mizell, was in a Queens studio when tragedy struck that day in October. He and friend Urieco Rincon were sitting on a couch playing Madden NFL when more than one gunman reportedly entered the location. Jay was fatally shot while Rincon was also shot in the ankle and survived.

Due to the unwillingness of witnesses to cooperate in the case, few details have surfaced that would lead to the arrest of the person responsible for Jam Master Jay's death.
