LL Cool J had a young Canibus on the remix for his 1997 track '4, 3, 2, 1”'and ‘Bus wanted to rap the line, “Yo L is that a mic on your arm? Lemme borrow that!” in reference to LL’s mic tattoo. LL didn’t appreciate that so he dedicated his entire verse to throwing Canibus under the bus. Canibus retorted with the infamous 'Second Round K.O.' -- "So I'ma let the world know the truth, you don't want me to shine / You studied my rhyme, then you laid your vocals after mine," he raps) -- and somehow Wyclef got involved. It was such a weird beef that we should all be glad is over.
