This beef was all about Harlem. A newly groomed Azealia Banks beefed with Dipset’s forefather Jim Jones over the origin of the word “vamp.” They took it to the new streets aka Twitter, and then the beef turned into an old head vs. new head war. Azealia dropped the diss song ‘Succubi’ — (“Tru Life stole all your chains, yes / Max B wrote all your flames, yes”) — and while the war was so unnecessary, Banks gets kudos for being a brave new girl and battling one of the big guys in hip-hop.
