It looks like Top Dawg Entertainment is expanding their roster to the world of R&B. The celebrated rap label, home to Kendrick Lamar, has enlisted a new singer-songwriter and her name is SZA.

The up-and-coming New Jersey songbird made a little bit of noise last year with her 2012 mixtape, 'See.SZA.Run.'

TDE posted a video showcasing SZA's fun-loving style and describes her sound as glittery trap music.

"I couldn’t be more blessed to be part of such an immensely talented, honorable, and dangerously creative family THANK YOU,” she tweeted after TDE made the announcement of their new signee on Twitter.

Earlier this week, SZA released a new song, 'Teen Spirit.' The ballad was produced by 16-year-old studio prodigy WondaGurl who blessed Jay Z with 'Crown' on his 'Magna Carta Holy Grail' LP. The song boasts a plodding bass-heavy beat and SZA's ethereal vocals.

SZA also released the haunting 'Castles,' which is the song playing in the introduction video above.

Currently, she's working on her EP, 'Z,' due out in the fall. If you want to reach out and congratulate SZA on joining the TDE family, check her out on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
