Last week's R&B Sound Off between Tamar Braxton's 'The One' and Sevyn Streeter's 'It Won't Stop' was close. However, Braxton stays strong at the top with 53 percent of the votes while Streeter only received 47 percent.

Braxton takes a laid-back and chill approach with ‘The One,’ a single off her new album, ‘Love and War,’ releasing this summer. Sampling Mtume’s ‘Juicy Fruit,’ the songstress expresses how much she loves her man (aka husband and producer Vincent Herbert) on this smooth track. “I don’t need no one, baby / Without you I’m incomplete / My love is like the ball / Put it all on me,” she sings.

This week, Braxton is going up against Jennifer Hudson and her latest track, 'Gone, Gone, Gone.' The 'American Idol' alum sings about leaving the man whose been lying and cheating on her. The solid ballad is reminiscent of great '90s R&B tracks. “No matter what I always held you down / If I didn’t know before / I know it now / It ain’t worth it / It ain’t working, all the hurting,” she belts.

Will Braxton keep her winning streak and be the next artist to enter the R&B Sound Off Hall of Fame? Or will Hudson's throwback sound take her spot? Vote for your favorite song in the poll below. Remember you can vote once per hour until the poll closes on Tues., June 11, at 10AM ET.

Rules of R&B Sound Off
Two R&B artists sound off against each other each week. The triumphant artist goes on to compete in the next R&B Sound Off. If an artist wins four straight R&B Sound Offs, the song will be honored as immortal in TheDrop.fm R&B Sound Off Hall of Fame.
