Since giving birth to her son, Logan, on June 6, Tamar Braxton hasn't been shy about showing off her new bundle of joy. So it's no surprise that when 'The One' songstress was asked to be on the latest Ebony cover, it was a mother-and-son affair.

In the October 2013 issue, Braxton not only gushes about being a proud mama to Logan, but also delves into the stories that have been circulating about her in the press. She dispels the plastic surgery rumors and talks about the struggles with vitiligo. Braxton also reveals how she dealt with her past abusive relationships as well as talks about her new reality show, 'Tamar & Vince.'

“I haven’t always been vocal about my feelings, especially in a relationship," she tells Ebony. "Now, I make sure that I’m very vocal about my feelings, everybody knows how I feel. Sometimes it’s over the top and most of the time it’s ‘Team Too-Much.’ But I have to do a lot. (I was) a shy person who had self-esteem issues trying to figure it out -- now, I’ve gotten over my hangovers. You say, I’m comfortable and confident, it took a long time to get there. Maybe like a year or so before 'Braxton Family Values,' I wasn’t that person. I was faking it till I make it, pretty much."

The in-depth piece shows us another side to the 'Love and War' singer, which is different from the glitz and glam that we saw on 'Braxton Family Values.' Check out the full story at Ebony.com now.
