Snoop Lion, Miley Cyrus Forget the Past on ‘Ashtrays and Heartbreaks’

Major Lazer provides the beat for Snoop Lion and Miley Cyrus‘ new collaboration, ‘Ashtrays and Heartbreaks.’

For most of the song, the rapper-turned-pseudo-reggae artist and the pop singer recite the lyrics together.

Cyrus leads the way with ad-libs on the track, which details moving beyond past heartbreaks — without being bitter — and raise a glass to the memories of the lost ones.

“You’re gone but you’re never missed,” Cyrus sings.

The track is mellow and has a good vibe, cohesive with other songs like ‘No Guns Allowed,’ which he recently released.

‘Ashtrays and Heartbreaks’ appears on Snoop’s new album, ‘Reincarnated,’ arriving April 23.
