Shawty Lo is not going away that easy. After the Oxygen network canceled his ratchet reality show, 'All My Babies' Mamas,' the Atlanta rapper is on a campaign to save it. And guess who's in his corner?

Talk show blowhard Rush Limbaugh is supporting the D4L rhymer. The conservative radio gabber came to Lo's defense Wednesday (Jan. 16) calling Oxygen a bunch of "old fuddy-duddies." Limbaugh seems to believe that Lo's series will actually be educational to the viewing audience.

"The show was simply gonna say what it is in terms of this lifestyle and just gonna tell everybody what it is,” he said on his program (as heard by AllHipHop.com).

“So we were going to expand the definition of a family to include whatever people wanted it to be," he continued. "Shawty just sharing the love. Shawty just sharing all of his love with 10 women and 11 babies. It was a show of love and devotion, how Shawty provides for all, and it’s being ripped right out from under him. I mean, who says that this is a marginalized existence?"

Meanwhile, Lo has taken to the airwaves, urging Oxygen to not give up on the show because of pressure from the media. "Yeah, I really understand. They have the right to think that, but at least give the show a chance, to see what's goin' on," he told Hot 107.9 in Atlanta. "They makin' their assumptions off a 13-minute trailer and this like the biggest news around the world right now and it's unbelievable."

Contrary to what the gossip blogs are reporting, there is an online counter-petition on Change.org that was posted by a "fan" -- not by Shawty Lo -- demanding that Oxygen reinstate the show to their programming schedule. So far, it has garnered over 500 digital signatures.
