Ronald Isley Debuts New Single, ‘Dinner and a Movie’

Veteran R&B crooner Ronald Isley returns after a long hiatus with a new single called ‘Dinner and a Movie.’ The melodic ballad is from his forthcoming untitled album on eOne Entertainment.

Ron’s tender falsetto is sweet and tender on the song as he recalls his first encounter with a beautiful woman he would like to court. Rather than impress her with material things, the singer simply wants to take her out for a dinner and a movie.

“Hello, hello / Girl, what’s your name? / I was thinking maybe we do dinner and a movie / Girl, don’t say no if you feel the same / I was thinking maybe we do dinner and a movie,” he sings on the chorus.

‘Dinner and a Movie’ is a sophisticated song that will most likely appeal to his adult fans, those who remember Ron as Mr. Biggs in those classic soap opera-themed videos featuring R. Kelly.

Ron Isley is currently working on his follow-up to his 2010 solo LP ‘Mr. I.’ Hopefully, Mr. Biggs and Kels will work together again on this new project.
