Rochelle Jordan – R&B Singers to Watch in 2013

The Weeknd is Toronto's very own, dominating the music scene there and across the U.S., just off the success of his mixtapes and Drake cosign. But be on the lookout for fellow Toronto native Rochelle Jordan, who's set to part waves next.

With production partner KLSH, the duo have a unique chemistry, which is reminiscent of one very special producer and singer team: Timbaland and Aaliyah. In the spirit of the late singer, Jordan's sound can also be felt in the same breath of early Amel Larrieux and Amerie. Her project, 'Pressure,' released in August 2012, has been an internet hit. Time will only tell what this songbird will do next.
