Fans of Rihanna will have to wait just a little bit longer to see her perform in Brooklyn.

Due to the Brooklyn Nets extending the NBA playoffs series to seven games against the Chicago Bulls, Rihanna’s scheduled concert at the Barclays Center will be rescheduled from Saturday (May 4) to Tuesday (May 7).

In a statement made from Barclays Center CEO Brett Yormark, the stadium will accept tickets bought for Saturday night on the new performance date, or refunds will be given where fans bought their ticket.

“I want to apologize to Rihanna’s fans for the inconvenience of having to reschedule her show at Barclays Center from Saturday, May 4 to Tuesday, May 7 due to Game 7 of the Brooklyn Nets-Chicago Bulls NBA Playoffs series,” Yormark said. “I want to thank Rihanna for working with us on this new date and for understanding what a Game 7 in Brooklyn means to the borough.

"We look forward to a special concert and I hope Rihanna will be our guest at Game 7.”

If you can’t wait until Tuesday, Rihanna will still be performing at the Barclays Center Sunday night (May 5) if you are able to find tickets.
