Raf Simons x Adidas Stan Smith

Raf Simons has produced several highly successful collaborations using adidas' iconic shoe the Stan Smith as his template. Apparently, the R that graces the side of each sneaker stands for "relentless" or maybe "re-up" as the fashion designer releases another exciting collection.

This time he doesn’t go for garish as the models are relegated to tonal colors like black, white or tan and each is crafted with the quality you’ve come to expect with a Raf Simons creation. The creative designer made sure that his presence was felt on each pair as well by initialing and embossing every model that he’s responsible for, giving the sneaker an undeniable luxury feel. We’re almost shocked that he didn’t swap his face out for Smith’s along the tongue of each sneaker as well.

The Raf Simons x Adidas Stan Smith is available now at very select retailers including Feature Sneaker Boutique who has them for $455 a pair. That may be a lot of dough to cough up but it almost insures you against being the subject of a #WhatAreThose video.
