2013 has already seen a strong year for hip-hop and R&B, but there are a few more artists who want you to make room for them in your playlists before 2014 arrives.

Eminem is definitely one. The Detroit hip-hop veteran is back with a follow-up to his 2000 dark and introspective album, 'The Marshall Mathers LP' -- the title inspired by his government name. We expect more grim tales on the sequel.

Also, despite controversy surrounding a lawsuit from the NFL, rapper M.I.A. is still returning to the game with her fourth studio album, 'Matangi' next month. O.G. Bun B is finally releasing the final chapter to his 'Trill-ogy' series with 'The Epilogue.' This is a follow-up to 2005's 'Trill,' 2008's 'II Trill,' and 2010's 'Trill OG.'

In the world of R&B, Ashanti has pushed back her 'BraveHeart' LP to next month. And as of now, Chris Brown is ready to let 'X' go, unveiling the project to the world towards the end of November.
