Ne-Yo has added a new artist to his growing roster of young, fresh R&B talent over at Universal Motown.

Sonna Rele, 25, is a British singer he discovered while watching her Music Mondays videos she posted on her Facebook page.

The songstress has been uploading the visuals to promote her talents and gained thousands of fans that way. However, she never thought one fan would be the hit-making singer-songwriter Ne-Yo. After watching her, the 'Let Me Love You' creator had to sign her -- fast.

He contacted her manager right away and asked her to sing an original song at a gig he had in the city. He then surprised her by going onstage and telling her he was ready to have her join his roster of talent. Rele thought it was all a joke.

"Onstage Ne-Yo said, ‘I’m not going to let you go’ and looked back at me. 'I'm offering you a record deal, right here, right now. Do you accept?'" she told the London Evening Standard.

Of course she did. Now Rele will open for Ne-Yo at the O2 Arena and will fly to Los Angeles right after where she will begin recording.

Ne-Yo gushed over her raw talent. He's excited to work with her and bring her to the U.S.

"This is my first international signing and I am so hyped that it is Sonna. I know she’s going to be big. Her sound and style is so beautiful and unique," he admitted.
