Miley Cyrus is continuing her crossover into the hip-hop arena. During a funny interview on Ryan Seacrest's radio show, she confirmed that the rumors about her working with Cali-rap veteran Snoop Lion were true. She said the record was a surprise even to herself.

“I want this record to be something different and a bunch of passion projects. The first thing I would not have calculated [is] the first song I want to come out is going to be me and Snoop Dogg… that’s never what I thought was what was going to be," she said.

This is not the first time Miley Cyrus has worked with hip-hop's finest. She has collaborated with Wiz Khalifa, Tyler the Creator, Mary J. Blige and producer Mike Will Made It for her upcoming album. She also made an appearance in a music video for 'Twisted,' by raptress Tiffany Foxx, who is mentored by rapper Lil Kim.

In other Cyrus hip-hop news, the singer recently released a twerk video, dancing in a unicorn onesie to J. Dash’s dance track 'Wop.' Her friend recorded it and she decided to upload it. "It's a lot of booty action," she said, explaining the definition of twerking. "It's kind of weird that I twerked for six million people," she said, laughing. "I haven't seen one bad comment about my twerk video."

We wonder if Cyrus will be spitting some bars on her album? Only time will tell.
