2013 is looking like a busy year for Michelle Williams. Aside from reuniting with Beyonce and Kelly at the Super Bowl and the upcoming release of the new Destiny's Child album, 'Love Songs,' she'll be joining the cast of the award-winning Broadway musical, 'FELA,' during its national tour.

Williams will be playing Sandra Isadore, an activist and the protagonist's love interest. Her first performance will be in the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 29 and will continue on to 12 more cities including Detroit, Atlanta and Los Angeles.

"I am thrilled to join the cast of Fela!," she said in a statement. "This musical journey is one that I've wanted to be a part of since first seeing it on stage in 2008. The sounds, the passion, and the politics of Fela Kuti have long intrigued me and speak to my heart. I am simply honored."

This isn't Williams' first appearance on Broadway. She has also had roles in 'Aida,' 'The Color Purple' and 'Chicago' where she played Roxie Hart, the show's lead character.
