M.I.A. – Crazy Stage Outfits

London-based rapper M.I.A. is absolutely stunning even in her ridiculous stage get-ups. From the very start, the emcee has followed her own style guide for what works onstage.

In 2009, a very pregnant M.I.A. stole the spotlight at the Grammys, rocking a sheer, polka dot cutout dress and sneakers while performing 'Swagga Like Us' alongside the likes of T.I., Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and Kanye West. She looked crazy but still amazingly cute.

At the Super Bowl last year, M.I.A. did it again while wearing a sort of Egyptian-inspired cheerleader costume with fishnets and velveteen boots. Very odd. But to be fair, she appeared during Madonna's set, so most likely the concept was inspired by the pop legend. But we can tack this look on to a long list of M.I.A.'s outrageous outfits.
