They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. But to Method Man that's straight up biting and he's not down with that.

During his April 20 concert in Denver, the Wu-Tang Clan rapper encouraged fans to drop Macklemore if he every tried to crowd walk on them. WTF?

Now don't get it twisted, Method actually likes the Seattle rapper, best known for his energetic performances and songs like 'Thrift Shop' and 'Can't Hold Us.' However, he takes umbrage of the fact that Macklemore crowd walks on his fans -- a move that Meth has incorporated into his own stage shows for several years.

So midway through his set in Denver, the 'Tical' rapper took time to address the audience about Macklemore's crowd-surfing skills.

“I was watching MTV not too long ago and there was a rapper onstage. This motherf---er had a lot of energy and was really, really enjoying his performance. I think his name is Macklemore," he said. "Don’t get me wrong, that motherf---er can rhyme, but as I’m watching his performance, I think this motherf---er [did something] that just pissed me off. He actually tried to walk on [the crowd]. I started that s---! That’s my s---!"

He then requested the Denver crowd to drop Macklemore when he comes to their city. "Don’t get me wrong. When Macklemore come to y'all city, y'all show him all the love that y'all show Red and Meth," said Meth. "But if that motherf---er tries to do my walk on the crowd thing, I want Denver, Colorado to drop his a-- like a bad habit."

Now that's not nice.

While we understand Method Man's complaint, we don't want to see Macklemore, or, for that matter, any artist planking on the ground after being dropped from crowd surfing.
