Meek Mill Plans Sports and Entertainment Summit in Philadelphia

Meek Mill is giving back to his hometown. The Maybach Music Group rapper announced that he would be bringing the Dream Chasers Sports & Entertainment Summit to Philadelphia later this month.

The 'Levels' rhymer launched the event in an effort to help others pursue their vision and goals. "Dream Chasers Sports and Entertainment Summit is to bring together some of the biggest names in both sports and entertainment to discuss everything from chasing dreams successfully to what it takes to make it in the industry as an athlete, musician, entrepreneur and business executive," says a statement on the site. "The infusion panel will focus on 'dream chasing' and looks to ignite the spark in all generations to go after their goals, no matter what those goals may be."

The Dream Chasers Sports & Entertainment Summit will be held at Temple University on Aug. 30.
