Meek Mill at Odds With Probation Officer

Rapper Meek Mill is having a hard time finding common ground with his probation officer.

On Friday (March 15), the rapper attended a hearing before Common Pleas Court Judge Genece E. Brinkley to work out violations of his five-year probation, according to

Apparently, Meek traveled outside of Philadelphia without disclosing his itinerary to his probation officer, Treas Underwood, who, according to Federal law, must know his every move so she can notify authorities that he will be present in the areas he’s traveling.

He is also supposed to call her when he’s leaving one location and going to the next as well as when he arrives. She claims the ‘Dreamchasers’ creator has not been responsible in doing so.

Meek says that that is hard for him to inform Underwood as his schedule changes constantly. “The problem is that I don’t know,” Mill said. “It changes every day.”

During the two hour squabble between Mill, Brinkley, Underwood and the rhymer’s lawyer Gary Silver, Meek Mill asked for a new probation officer and was denied.

The Maybach Music Group signee began a five-year probation in 2009, as a result of a 2008 drug and gun conviction for which he was sentenced to 11 to 23 months in prison. He served eight months.
