Lupe Fiasco Releases New Single, ‘Light Blue’
It appears that Lupe Fiasco is working on some new music judging by his latest joint, 'Light Blue.' However, the song does come with a caveat.
"DONT MIND ME….JUST STAYING IN SHAPE…JUST PRACTICE…LIKE A PIANO PLAYER OR A GYMNAST. Not on T&Y…So pls dont Say It Is on your blog. Thanx," he tweeted before deleting it (according to LUPEnd blog).
On the track, produced by DJ SimonSayz, Fiasco spits non-sensical rhymes over buzzing synthesizers and an on-time drum beat. "From my view here / My hue veers / To a blue smear on a white wall, what you might call my blue peer / I'm two tiered / But no tats / And I don't know what you call that / Goes on and on like two mirrors," he raps.
The Chicago rapper then relays on the chorus, "My youth sound just like lightning coming down."
Since this is a throwaway track we are not going to be critical about the song. Hopefully, this holds Fiasco's fans over until he releases the 'Tetsuo & Youth' album later this year.
