Luke James Sings About Lost Love in ‘The Great Gatsby’-Inspired Video ‘Oh God’

Luke James goes vintage in the cinematic-looking new video for ‘Oh God.’ Dressed in a blue, double-breasted tux, the singer looks stoic as he croons about the woman he lost and wants to get back.

Fans will be pleased with all of James’ close-up shots, courtesy of director Sarah McColgan. He’s seen singing in the middle of a party when he finally witnesses his former flame, who’s looking fierce in a skin-baring black outfit and hanging onto a Siberian husky as an accessory.

The two eventually meet in the middle of the dance floor and get down while Hit-Boy — who’s featured on the track — spits some rhymes.

We later see that what James was actually seeing was all in his mind, and that the woman he desires has clearly moved on. The two rendezvous in another room where they are caught by her new man, and a fight ensues. By the end, James is left bloody and with the dog.

Not the happy ending we were hoping for, but the video is not one to miss.
