Lil Wayne has had an illustrious career over the past two decades. From conquering the Billboard charts to forging an indomitable empire with Young Money, he's already stamped himself in the hip-hop history books. Now, he's accomplishing another goal by launching his own music festival.

The rapper is spearheading the Lil Weezyana Fest in New Orleans next month. Wayne's manager, Cortez Bryant, revealed the news on Instagram. "We coming to give the city the greatest concert ever," he wrote on his Instagram. To make things even more eventful, Wayne will reunite with the Hot Boys for the first time in years. Juvenile, Turk and Mannie Fresh will join Wayne onstage. Unfortunately, BG won't be in attendance due to a current 14-year prison sentence he's serving.

In addition, the Free Weezy Album creator will bring along some of his rap friends to perform. No names have been announced on the lineup, but we're sure Weezy will welcome the best artists to take the stage in his hometown of New Orleans. Since he recently became a co-owner of the TIDAL streaming service, perhaps this festival will air exclusively on the channel.

The festival comes on the heels of his latest release, Free Weezy Album, which was released July 4. The project has been lauded as one of his best albums in years and features the likes of Jeezy and Wiz Khalifa.

Lil Weezyana Fest will take place Aug. 28 at the Bold Sphere Music at Champions Square in New Orleans. Tickets are available now.
